1.1 Any use by You of the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust (VFWT) website operated at www.vfwt.org is conditional upon Your acceptance of these Website Terms and Conditions of use (Terms and Conditions). By using the website You will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions and accordingly, if you do not accept the Terms and Conditions please desist from accessing the website.
1.2 VFWT reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions, from time to time, without notice and at its discretion and accordingly, it is Your responsibility to periodically review these Terms and Conditions for any amendments or updates.
2. WEBSITE VISIT RECORDALS AND INFORMATION COLLECTION
2.1 VFWT will track Your visits to and use of the website, however no attempts will be made to identify users and the information which VFWT collects will be used to help VFWT analyse the effectiveness of the website.
2.2 VFWT respects Your privacy and will take all reasonable measures to protect it and will implement and operate all reasonable information security controls in order to protect and preserve the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of all personal information and the risks relating thereto.
3. IN THE EVENT THAT YOU
3.1 apply for an internship/externship on the website and/or sign up to receive newsletters and/or marketing information, VFWT may require You to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as Your name and surname, email address, physical address, date of birth, details relating to your well-being and/or health, medical information and/or mobile telephone number (collectively referred to as Personal Information).
3.2 supply your Personal Information to VFWT in terms of clause 3.1 or for any other reason whatsoever, You expressly acknowledge and agree that:
3.2.1VFWT may take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that Your Personal Information is kept secure and is protected against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, alteration, disclosure or access;
3.2.2 in certain circumstances, VFWT may be required to share Your Personal Information, with government departments for purposes of complying with laws and regulations;
3.2.3 by providing Personal Information to VFWT, You will be deemed to have provided your express consent to the use and lawful processing thereof by VFWT and, if applicable and notwithstanding the provisions of clause 3.3, the sharing and transfer thereof in terms of clause 3.2.2.
3.3 Subject to the provisions of clause 3.2.2, VFWT will treat Your Personal Information as strictly confidential and not retain Your Personal Information for longer than the period for which it was originally needed, unless it is required by law to do so, or You consent to the retention thereof for a longer period.
3.4 You have the right to withdraw Your consent and/or object to any collection, processing and/or collection of Your Personal Information at any time by notifying VFWT in writing.
4. DONATIONS
4.1 In the event that You use the website to make a donation:
4.1.1 You are responsible for ensuring that all information which is provided is accurate, complete and up to date;
4.1.2 VFWT will not be liable for any:
4.1.2.1 incorrect or inaccurate information which You may provide, when using the website or making a donation;
4.1.2.2 charges and/or losses incurred by You as a result of fraudulent transactions occurring when You make a donation.
4.1.2.3 bank or third-party payment processing errors.

5.1 The website may make use of cookies (being essential cookies, functional cookies and site analytic cookies) to enable it to perform better. These Terms and Conditions will be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe and by accessing and using the website You hereby consent and submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
